The Children’s Garden

Located on the campus of the Allen County Museum, the Children’s Garden is a project of the Allen County Master Gardener Volunteers.  The garden is sustained through the work of volunteers and donations.

The garden was established in 1998 and features over 30 mini-themed gardens geared toward children and exploration.  The garden is “open” from dawn till dusk, May through October.  As with any garden, it has a different look and characteristics throughout the growing season.  It is free and open to the public.

On Tuesdays at 12:15 p.m. a Brown Bag Lunch Series in presented in the gazebo, where Master Gardener Volunteers give presentations on various gardening topics for interested guests in the garden.  Guests are welcome to bring a lawn chair and a sack lunch and eat while they learn.
